Brad Little (Phantom), Tamra Hayden (alt Christine), Jason Pebworth (Raoul)

HIGHLIGHTS, runs just over 31 minutes long. Basically it's Act one from "Your number sir, thank you. Lot 663 then, gentlemen '' in the Prologue, to the first line of the second verse of the title song (just as Brad starts singing). So basically if you're looking at this for Brad Little's Phantom, you'll get very little of that out of it (‘The Mirror’ and some Bravi's). However, it might be the only recording of Hayden's Christine.

June 22, 1997 | Sacramento | mp3, tracked

Brad Little (Phantom), Jessica Henson (u/s Christine), Jason Pebworth (Raoul)

Very early recording of Brad that sounds incredible, and not just for its age. Someone got a bit trigger-happy when it was time to track.

MOST OF THE SHOW - about 55 minutes for the first act and 40 for the second act. VERY odd indexing - especially ‘Final Lair’, which is cut into seven tracks.

Four seconds of ‘Magical Lasso’ missing, as well as a small chunk of the ‘Don Juan Rehearsal’ and a bit of screaming after ‘Don Juan Triumphant’ - probably flip points.

Originally analog and it shows – some hiss throughout. Small bits likely missing around flip points (I noticed one in the "Before the Premiere" scene – not MUCH missing, just a few orchestral notes). However, the transfer was done from a very early generation, so the analog issues aren't as vast as many other analog recordings are. For a very *VERY* long time recordings of Gleason's Phantom were *VERY* hard to come by and this one, the first one that was released (others were kept hidden for vast periods) was ridiculously rare.
